 Out of My Tree has been working with refugees, asylum seekers, local artists, and Creative Connections, to create an installation of tree-lanterns, where tree-nymphs hover, telling tree-stories and divulging tree-facts, and drummers strum, guiding you inside Leeds City Library where a full exhibition of beauty and information grows. 

Out of My Tree is a community arts and environment event. We are holding an interactive exhibition of environment related artwork, and information on local environmental initiatives, in Leeds Central Library Community Arts Space from the 3rd to 29th of October (library opening hours); we have a programme of arts, environment, and health and wellbeing workshops running throughout the month (please pick up a programme in the library); and a performance evening of music, poetry, story telling and drama from 8 – 12pm on Saturday the 17th of October in Holy Trinity Church.
