Light Night Leeds is completely free to all, enabling everyone to experience the city in a new light. Fully accessible and family friendly, we programme a range of activities to engage with community groups, schools, and families to create new light art for the event. We will provide guided tours in several languages for refugees and asylum seekers, enabling them to access the arts and feel welcome in the city. We will also provide tours for groups such as young carers, the homeless, and older people who often experience barriers to attending activities in the city centre. Our free Light Night Rider buses improve accessibility, helping people to travel between different zones and attend a greater number of events, and our shuttle services from disadvantaged areas of the city promote participation from residents.
